LPA In-Studio Performance

General Guidelines

On the day of your child’s performance, please bring them to the studio

in their costume at least 10 minutes before their class time. Girls should wear

their tights, costume and street shoes to the studio. Hair should be in a bun.

Take your child to the dressing room and change them into the proper shoes.

At this time, the teacher will begin to gather students to come into the studio

to present their performance.

Parents may bring up to four guests to the performance. We do not sell tickets for this performance. A small reception with refreshments will follow the students’ performance. Videotaping and photography are permitted at the performance. (Please no flash photography. It is very distracting to the dancers.)

Costumes Guidelines

You will receive your costume with all accessories the week of April 25, 2011 unless there is any outstanding balance on your account. You will not receive your costume until you account is paid up to date.

May tuition will be ½ of your regular tuition rate. Your balance due for April and May 2011 is included in this packet. Questions regarding the May tuition rate, please call 610-444-6144. The studio’s seamstress will complete all alterations. When you receive the costume, please hang it up in a safe place, as you are responsible for your costume prior to the recital.

We do not have any extra costumes or accessories!

Girls - Ballet pink tights and pink ballet slippers are required for all Ballet classes.

Photographer

We will have a professional photographer at Longwood Performing Arts for all Pre-Level Divisions.

The photographer will also be available at John Dickinson High School in Wilmington, Delaware.

In addition to the In-Studio Recital, all other students from Longwood Performing Arts will be showcasing their 2012 Annual Recital at John Dickinson High School. Parents and students of the Pre-Level Divisions are encouraged to attend. Each family will receive 2 complimentary tickets to the performance of your choice. Enclosed is a Ticket Order Form to be returned to Longwood Performing Arts to receive your 2 complimentary tickets. For further details, contact the studio at 610-444-6144.
